Key Responsibilities

  • Operate sit-down (SD) forklift OR electric pallet jack (EPJ) to move materials throughout the warehouse

  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts
  • Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies

  • Maintain housekeeping standards and follow all safety requirements.
  • Perform work indoors and outdoors as necessary.

Job Summary

The Senior Warehouse Clerk manages daily shipping and receiving operations, handles freight documentation, and resolves carrier or inventory issues using warehouse management systems. [1]

Key Responsibilities

  • Shipping & Receiving Operations (30%)
    • Process incoming and outgoing shipments.
    • Direct truck drivers and carriers.
    • Resolve dock scheduling, late pickups, and damage claims.
  • Export Processing & Documentation (15%)
    • Complete export orders and compliance paperwork.
    • Generate shipping labels and maintain audit-ready records.
  • Returns & Inventory Processing (15%)
    • Process customer returns in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
    • Verify inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Pallet & Equipment Management (15%)
    • Order CHEP and white wood pallets.
    • Reconcile pallet inventory and audit system variances.
  • Data Entry & Shift Reporting (15%)
    • Track daily shipping/receiving metrics in the WMS.
    • Maintain filing systems per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • General Administrative Support (10%)
    • Provide shift-level documentation support.
    • Communicate daily status updates to warehouse leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in a warehouse shipping and receiving role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with shipping documents, export paperwork, and pallet control (CHEP/white wood).

3rd shift, Sunday- Thursday 10:30 PM – 7 AM

Job Duties:

  • Oversee assembly production line and temporary employees
  • Supervise and assist with labeling and casing or packing of materials or products.
  • Train new temporary workforce
  • Provides feedback to employees on job expectations and conducts employee counseling.
  • Performs duties as described under Shift Supervisor
  • Maintain all appropriate paperwork
  • Communicate with Management to continually address any production issues, discuss production line improvements, handle labor issues, and correct packing and machine problems
  • Maintain production line efficiency, quality, cleanliness and safety
  • Work all overtime required
  • Ensure temporary employees are in compliance with proper Personnel Protective Equipment
  • Line Leads must always be in compliance with PPE.
