Job Description
Swifco is seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to join our team. The General Laborer will assist with various warehouse and production tasks, maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow work instructions, and support daily operations. Candidates must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor and warehouse duties as assigned.
- Follow company safety procedures and work instructions.
- Sort, organize, and move materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory and production activities.
- Read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.
- Complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
Job Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Basic math skills without the use of a calculator.
- Ability to compare and arrange fractions in the correct order.
- Good spelling and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to write clearly in cursive handwriting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform general labor tasks throughout the workday.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or general labor experience.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Schedule: Full-time / Monday- Saturday
