Job Opening: Painter / Utility Worker

About the Role:

The Painter / Utility Worker is responsible for prepping and painting compressors and related components, maintaining paint equipment, supporting production tasks, and ensuring high-quality, on-time completion of painted products.

• Location: Sparks Proper, NV
• Pay:$22.00–$25.50/hr DOE.
• Schedule:5:45 AM – 2:15 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Prep, mask, clean, and paint compressors, generators, and associated parts.
• Maintain accurate paint logs in accordance with company policies.
• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and best practices.
• Maintain the paint booth and equipment; complete weekly 5S cleanings and audits.
• Support packaging and general production tasks as needed.
• Operate a forklift to move and transport components (forklift certification required).
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Operations and Production leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to pass and maintain required painter qualification courses.
• Technical school training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license with no insurance restrictions.
• Ability to read and understand structural drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math (percentages, ratios, fractions).
• Ability to learn and adapt to various computer applications.
• Understanding of air/gas compressors, generators, and basic manufacturing tools.
• Must meet U.S. Person requirements per ALU 22CFR 120.15 (may require ability to obtain DOD clearance).
